What the soccer tournament means for Huntsville

Cancelling last year’s tournament was especially tough on the Huntsville Sports Commission, as the city missed out on millions of dollars in lodging, dining and other tourism revenue from the tournament. With hundreds of soccer players and their families in the city this weekend, hotels and restaurants can expect a nice boost as teams from multiple states come to Huntsville.
