We already know that Huntsville is a great place to live, and we know it is a great place to visit. But when it comes to visitors in the Rocket City, where should they stay?

Well, a recent list compiled by Conde Nast Traveler has included Huntsville’s own 106 Jefferson hotel among its Best Hotels in the South. This is quite an honor for the downtown hotel, and well-deserved.

106 Jefferson in Huntsville among the elite

Huntsville’s 106 Jefferson hotel had some stiff competition, but was the highest rated hotel in Alabama on the list. The 115-room upscale boutique hotel in Downtown Huntsville pays homage to the history, culture and charm of the Rocket City — to the era of the space race that lifted the community to new heights and continues as a source of immense pride in the city today.

Some of 106 Jefferson’s coolest features include:

  • Guests can dine at the onsite restaurant, Revivalist, that features an inventive menu with a modern twist on European classics.
  • You can also enjoy cocktails and light bites at the rooftop lounge, Baker & Able, aptly named after the first two monkeys who were sent to space.
  • The hotel is within walking distance of various shopping, dining, arts, museums, parks, and nearby historical attractions.

“We’re honored to receive this prestigious recognition. This is an excellent reflection of our team’s commitment to providing guests with a top-notch experience and ensuring they feel like a part of our community during their stay. We look forward to continuing to offer guests award-winning service.”

Jeremy Sadler, general manager at 106 Jefferson
