Huntsville Music Month is here — check out these exciting events happening in September

Ever since 2022, September has been recognized as “Huntsville Music Month,” which sees a citywide celebration of the artists, venues, businesses and events that make the Huntsville music scene so special.
As part of this celebration, there will be tons of music-based events happening around Huntsville this month — here’s the full list:
- Live at Heart Conference & Festival: Three Huntsville musicians will be representing the Rocket City all the way in Sweden

- AMPLIFIED Open Mic Night: More than 30 artists are expected to perform, ranging from first-timers to seasoned musicians
- 📍 The Electric Belle at Stovehouse

- Hear to Be Seen 3: 28 original collaborative works from local Huntsville artists will be shown off at The Orion Ampitheater

- Rocket City New Music: Sound Bites: A one-night progressive percussion concert with the opportunity to also experience Lowe Mill’s visual and culinary arts

- LAUNCHPAD: This two-night event officially “kicks off” Huntsville Music Week, featuring free shows at eight different venues

- Gospel Skate Night at Stoner Park: This unique event combines Gospel music with roller skating fun

- Women in Music Week: This annual event gives 50+ women the opportunity to showcase their musical talents — expect a full schedule to drop soon!

- Music Industry Career Fair & Community Expo: This free expo connects attendees with job openings and volunteer opportunities throughout Huntsville’s music ecosystem

- Huntsville Music at AMERICANAFEST: Huntsville music will have a two-day presence at AMERICANAFEST, including participation in a panel discussion and two special events — Rocket City Ramble + One Big Love

- 805 After Five featuring RIPE with Pat Jamar: The high-energy band Ripe will be performing a free outdoor concert with dynamic Huntsville musician Pat Jamar opening

- CulturA Festival: Celebrate the fifth anniversary of CulturA Festival with a free, all-ages day of Hispanic music, food, art and culture

- BLAST Music – Artist Submissions: Musicians from across the Tennessee Valley are invited to submit an album or EP, with the chance of signing a licensing agreement with BLAST Music and receive an honorarium
