Huntsville Music Office prepares for busy September
Reading time: 2 minutes
The Huntsville Music Office is holding its quarterly meet-up next week and the topics of discussion involve a music-filled September coming up in the Rocket City.
Here’s what to know:
Huntsville Music Office Quarterly Meet-up
The free event, at St. Stephens Music Hall which runs July 30 from 6PM to 8:30PM, provides an opportunity for musicians and stakeholders to network and collaborate.
Attendees can also engage with Huntsville Music Officer Matt Mandrella and members of Huntsville’s Music Board. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
Topics of discussion include Huntsville Music Month and the South Star Music Festival — both happening in September.
Throughout September, the Music Office will host or co-host a variety of events, culminating in the inaugural South Star Music Festival at John Hunt Park on September 28-29.
“Huntsville’s music scene is buzzing and it’s exciting to see artists from other states moving to Huntsville to experience what we have to offer. It’s also great to see other music cities taking notice and following our lead on initiatives like our Music Ambassador Program, which tells us we’re moving in the right direction.”
— Matt Mandrella, Huntsville Music Officer
