Reading time: 2 minutes

As the Rocket City continues to grow, the Huntsville nonprofit scene will need more resources to serve our communities well.
Redstone Federal Credit Union is answering that call with a new program that awards grants of $50,000 or more to fund important projects in the Huntsville area and beyond. Read on for all of the details.
The new Community Impact Grant program

In 2024 alone, Redstone contributed $1.4 million to 983 requests from community groups for sponsorship or advertising projects in Alabama and Tennessee.
This year, Redstone plans to build on 2024’s community impact by focusing their attention on community nonprofits. Through awarding grants of $50,000 or more, Redstone will fund innovative projects addressing challenges in neighborhoods within their service areas.
The Redstone team plans to focus on financial inclusion by supporting financial education and workforce/economic development.
“Redstone is committed to improving the financial well-being of our members and communities. We believe that by supporting strategic organizations and their visionary projects, we can help build brighter futures for everyone. These grants are high impact and will produce greater rewards!”
Richard Morris, a member of Redstone’s Board of Directors
