Huntsville opens new 48-unit affordable housing community for seniors

The City of Huntsville joined Neighborhood Concepts this morning for the ribbon cutting of a new affordable housing community geared towards seniors.
Grove at Indian Creek is a brand new 48-unit complex that has requirements regarding the age and income of potential renters.
The ribbon cutting was attended by Huntsville officials, Neighborhood Concepts Executive Director Mary Ellen Judah and other project partners.
This is part of Huntsville’s bigger push to make sure more residents—especially seniors on fixed incomes—have access to quality, affordable housing.

Who is eligible to live at Grove at Indian Creek, and where is it located?

Grove at Indian Creek is located in northwest Huntsville, and is a short 10-minute drive from popular shopping destinations like Bridge Street and MidCity.
This complex has rules in place regarding who can rent, which makes sure the housing is available for those who need it most. In order to rent here, you must be 55+ years old and make 60% or less than the median income of the Huntsville area.
