Reading time: 2 minutes

This may come as a surprise to those of us who’ve had some close calls on Memorial Parkway…Huntsville ranked the 12th top city with the safest drivers, according to Allstate’s 2025 America’s Best Drivers Report.
Allstate analyzed data related to auto insurance claims in the 200 most-populated U.S. cities (ranking from safest to riskiest drivers), and Huntsville came out near the top. Drivers in the Rocket City are 11.8% less likely to experience a collision compared to the national average.
According to Allstate’s methodology, they based the report on the likelihood drivers in each city will experience a vehicle collision compared to the national average.
