This Wednesday’s forecast is expected to bring thunderstorms, strong winds and cold air.

While there’s no threat for severe weather at this time, make sure to be weather aware this week.

What you can expect from Wednesday’s weather

The system impacting North Alabama on Wednesday will actually start on Tuesday night. That Tuesday front will bring showers, thunderstorms and wind gusts up to 35 miles per hour, according to the National Weather Service.

Highs near 65 on Wednesday afternoon will drop to lows in the mid-30s. Showers are likely for Wednesday as the chance of rain is currently at 80%.

Tornadoes aren’t in the forecast the the moment, but keep your eyes on the radar and always know where the safe areas of your home are.
