As an ERP Applications Analyst within our MIS Department, you will be responsible for administering and supporting enterprise resource planning (ERP) software applications. This full-time exempt role requires both functional knowledge and technical expertise to implement, maintain, and improve critical business applications. Responsibilities include reviewing application design, managing configurations, developing enhancements, deploying vendor updates, resolving help desk issues, training users, and leading solution testing efforts.

You will work independently and in collaboration with other technical professionals, demonstrating initiative and sound judgment to meet strategic and operational objectives.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Offer Range: $67,225 – $83,116
  • Classification: Exempt

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary in-house point of contact for users of utility business applications, particularly ERP systems
  • Design, document, and execute unit, integration, and regression testing to ensure accurate application performance
  • Collaborate with business process owners to enhance or introduce new application functionalities
  • Independently estimate and execute approved application changes, including peer and user reviews
  • Prioritize work assignments to ensure timely project completion
  • Act as a subject matter expert for assigned ERP applications
  • Participate in functional and technical specification development
  • Conduct system integration, performance, and acceptance testing
  • Document all changes using established change management tools
  • Create or support the creation of reports based on user and business needs

Additional Duties

  • Develop and deliver user documentation, individual coaching, and training
  • Implement process improvement measures and promote operational efficiency
  • Follow change and problem management processes
  • Apply functional and technical expertise for configuration and application maintenance
  • Maintain ERP batch processing requirements and company forms inventory
  • Support a problem-solving, analytical work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Credentials

  • Required: High school diploma or equivalent and associate degree
  • Alternative Path: In lieu of a degree, a minimum of six (6) years of relevant ERP application experience

Experience and Skills

  • Required: Minimum of four (4) years of experience in ERP applications
  • Preferred: Experience in one or more of the following:
    • Utility billing
    • Device management
    • Customer service
    • Procurement
    • Financials
    • Inventory
    • Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI)

Working Conditions

  • Environment: Office setting with primary sedentary work; some tasks involve repetitive motion
  • Physical Demands: Minimal physical strain; occasional extended screen time
  • Tools and Equipment: PC, phone, Microsoft Office Suite, and operating systems

Additional Requirements

  • Must be available for on-call assignments
