Monday, June 19 is Juneteenth, when the nation celebrates the end of slavery, and that means — as a national holiday — many of our government offices and services will be closed, along with some businesses in the area.

There are plenty of events scheduled in and around Huntsville to commemorate the holiday, so you definitely will not be looking for stuff to do.
