School’s out, but the learning doesn’t have to stop now. However, it’s summer, so let’s change up the location of the classroom. If your kid loves to be outside, Land Trust of Alabama’s Nature Play Camp is a fun week of exploration and curiosity. Topics and activities for this week-long day camp include:

  • Animal adaptations
  • Being nature detectives
  • Crafts, puzzles and games
  • Fossils
  • Map reading
  • Scat
  • Swimming in Fagan Creek
  • Tracks
  • Trees
  • Water critters

Two weeks of fun + the great outdoors

If you have a kid who’s age 6-11, count them lucky. Make sure you mark your calendars for these two weeks:

  • Ages 6-8: Monday, July 18-Friday, July 22 | 9AM-4PM
  • Ages 8-11: Monday, July 25-Friday, July 29 | 9AM-4PM

If you’re in the week one group for ages 6-8, drop-off and pick-up are both at the same location:
