Artemis will be a series of missions to get humans to the moon and eventually, to Mars. This mission will send the first woman and person of color to land on the moon. Artemis I will begin the mission by launching Orion, the first spacecraft to be sent into space by the Space Launch System.

Carrying no passengers, Orion will serve as a test flight for the mission. The Space Launch System will be the most powerful rocket in the world. Its home? You guessed it, Huntsville. You can expect this monumental moment late 2021 or early 2022.
