The first weekend of April is upon us, and that means we are going to see many more outdoor activities planned here in the Rocket City. So whatever you are looking to get into this weekend, I bet you can find it.

1. Drivin’ n’ Cryin’ @ Furniture Factory

  • What: This group dominated college radio in the 80s and 90s and are still going strong. This weekend they are joined by Alvin Youngblood.

4. Rocket City Night of Rock n’ Roll @ Mars Music Hall

  • What: This is a free concert that is open to all ages, featuring Angry Native, New Atomic, Blind the Sky and Tres Locos.

5. Shamrock Tenors @ Mark C. Smith Concert Hall

  • What: Ireland’s most exciting new music sensation, created by Belfast performer Raymond Walsh and supported by Tourism Ireland, the group features performers from both sides of the community across Northern Ireland, with vocalists from London’s West End along with the country’s best multi-instrumentalists.
