Man catches enormous 80+ lb. catfish in Lake Guntersville

A Birmingham man reeled in a giant 84.3-pound catfish out of Holt Reservoir at Lake Guntersville over the weekend. Forrest Winters posed with the giant fish and confirmed its massive weight via social media.
The 80+ pounds registered by Winters’ catch was actually far from the Alabama record. That belongs to John Nichols, who caught a 120-pound catfish in the same reservoir back in 2012.
