Marching Maroon + White earns spot in Battle of the Bands

Alabama A&M’s Marching Maroon & White band has earned a spot in the 2025 Pepsi National Battle of the Bands.
The event takes place later this summer in Houston. Here’s what to know:
2025 Pepsi National Battle of the Bands
The prestigious band competition is slated for Aug. 23 at NRG Stadium in Houston.
This marks the third appearance by the Marching Maroon & White at the event, which honors the musical excellence and cultural impact of Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
Alabama A&M joins these HBCU marching bands in the event:
- Albany State University
- Florida A&M University
- Jackson State University
- Langston University
- North Carolina A&T University
- Prairie View A&M University
- Texas Southern University
