Massive new industrial development breaks ground, expects completion in 2023

Add the Huntsville Logistics Center to the growing list of huge developments going up this year in Huntsville.

Officials just broke ground on the facility on Wednesday, a big step for a big project.

Here’s all the details on the $200 million, over 2 million square foot Huntsville Logistics Center.

So, what exactly is Huntsville Logistics Center? We’ll let the numbers explain.

  • Cost: Approximately $200 million
  • Size: 2.2 million square feet across 4 buildings
  • Location: Old Highway 20 and Gunters Way (off County Line Road, near the Mazda Toyota plant)
  • Completion Date: Expected Q4 2023

What it means for jobs

The facility will be home to industrial and commercial clients, bringing more jobs to Huntsville—approximately 700.

During construction, the project will bring an additional 450 jobs to the area.

The center is leasing now as a strategic location for industrial and commercial clients to land, conveniently located near I-565, MTMUS campus and the Huntsville International Airport.
