Morgan County Event Center now open to the public

Morgan County officials and business leaders cut the ribbon on Tuesday, June 30 on the Morgan County Event Center. This new 34,627-square-foot recreation and community facility is located at 388 Union Hill Road in Lacey’s Spring.

What to know about the Morgan County Event Center
This new $7.1 million facility has been under construction for nearly two years. The event center includes:
- Two full-size basketball courts
- Four volleyball courts
- Six pickleball courts
- An indoor walking track
- A meeting room with a kitchen available to rent for events and birthday parties
The event center is open to the public at no cost during the following hours:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday + Friday: 6AM-9PM
- Wednesday + Saturday: 8AM-4PM
- Closed Sunday
