Superhero Chefs

This upscale superhero-inspired restaurant is a great breakfast and lunch spot close to MidCity.

This spot is vegan and vegetarian friendly, with vegan options on their sandwich menu named after heroes and non-vegan options being villains.

With delicious breakfasts and a wide selection of cocktails and mimosas, this is a great place to go for weekend brunch or hosting after-hour events.

Dragon’s Forge Cafe

If you’ve been looking for a D&D or Lord of the Rings-esc fantasy tavern with great food and drinks, look no further.

Located on the second floor of Lowe Mill, this cafe serves specialty coffee drinks (with locally roasted coffee), foods like sandwiches and tavern stew and tea party packages.

Their social area is open to parties looking for a unique place to play D&D and board games, or if you’re looking for a place to relax with a book and take in the ambiance, they even have a small library with literature to read while you enjoy your drink.

Pints & Pixels

An old-school staple for Huntsville, Pints & Pixels is the place to get a few beers and enjoy some retro arcade games.

There’s no food served here (but Rock n Roll Sushi and Yellowhammer are next door), but with 40+ beers and wine on tap and 40+ retro arcade and pinball machines, your inner kid and outer adult will both enjoy this spot.

Lucky Dice Cafe

This is a must-visit spot for any board game or tabletop RPG enthusiasts.

This spot has shelves of board games, trading cards and RPG equipment for sale, on top of being a fully stocked cafe with a bar.

Lucky Dice hosts a variety of competitive card and board game tournaments and has spaces you can use if you and your nerdy party need some space to play D&D.

Supper Heros

Our second superhero-themed restaurant on the list stands out with an impressive interior, filled with wall-to-wall superheroes and collectibles.

If you remember Toy Box Bistro, Supper Heros will feel familiar.

This spot is worth the visit just to see the menu, which is a fully illustrated comic book.
