New Crush Yard pickleball facility coming soon to Huntsville

With the sport of pickleball becoming immensely popular here in the Rocket City, enthusiasts of the sport will be pleased to know that Huntsville is getting a new pickleball facility in 2025.
Crush Yard, which has a location in Charleston and will soon open a facility in Orlando, is bringing its pickleball concept here next year. Here’s more:
Crush Yard pickleball concept coming to Huntsville in 2025
Crush Yard’s concept offers a way for both beginners and pros to escape the heat on its indoor courts, and includes app-driven food and beverage purchases, court reservations, class and tournament registrations.
The “eatertainment” has food and drink options for guests of all ages, featuring:
- A chef-driven, elevated American and international menu
- Full cocktail bar
- Self-pour beer taps

- The 41,000-square-foot, 9-court Huntsville location is expected to open in the first half of 2025.
- The facility will be located at 6123 University Drive NW (across Research Park Blvd from MidCity District, TopGolf & Orion Amphitheater)
- The new facility will create about 30 jobs.
- The space will also feature a full bar with dozens of TVs, cocktails and a curated wine selection.
- It can also host private events and meetings for groups of up to 500 people with customizable menus, flexible spaces and advanced A/V capabilities.
