Hollywood came to Huntsville this morning, as the Marvel Studios chose an apropos setting to premier the trailer for its new “Fantastic 4” movie — here at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center.

Cast members and production crew were on hand at the USSRC to give a small crowd of students a peek at the new film.

‘Fantastic 4’ coming to theaters soon

The new film, “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” will open in theaters July 25. And since it is set in the 1960s during the height of the space race and the early days of NASA, the USSRC was a perfect setting for the trailer launch, so to speak.

Fans from around the world tuned in via a Marvel livestream to catch the big debut in real time with the Saturn 5 rocket serving as the backdrop, and students from Madison City Schools were on hand at the event.

Cast members starring as Marvel’s First Family—Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn and Ebon Moss-Bachrach—commandeered the countdown and launch surrounded by fans outside the National Geographic Theater.

Angélique Roché hosted the event that included a Q&A with the stars.
