Tennis, anyone? (City of Huntsville)

The Huntsville Tennis Center, located at 2305 Airport Rd SW, Huntsville, AL 35805, opened in 2–5 and is the largest clay-court facility in the south.

The expansion plans include:

  • The addition of 10 hard courts with lighting
  • The renovation of six existing hard courts into clay courts
  • A  small restroom pavilion to support the courts
  • Additional parking, sidewalks, landscaping and irrigation.
  • When complete, the Tennis Center will offer 36 soft courts and 10 hard courts for local and tournament play.

“Expanding our tennis center is a game-changer for Huntsville’s dedicated tennis community. This enhancement will allow us to host more tournaments, which is also good for our local economy. We’re committed to supporting and growing the sport in our city.”

Mayor Tommy Battle

A top-notch tennis facility

In 2008, center was named one of thirteen USTA facilities. It is open year-round, includes a stocked pro shop, meeting facilities and more.

These additions will only enhance the facility’s capabilities to host top-notch tennis events.
