While no official word has come from the owners of the restaurant as to why the restaurant is closing, an employee said the restaurant will “remain open for a couple of weeks.”
An eviction notice was seen on the door of Fusion Barbecue Tuesday.
Fusion opened in May of 2022 at 1300 Meridian St N, Huntsville, AL 35801 and has received high praise from local foodies for its innovative menu, which features BBQ classics like pulled pork sandwiches, mac and cheese and fall-off-the-bone ribs.
But, it also features unique options like barbecue bao, nachos and meatballs, plus a digital-forward ordering system that has made ordering online easy.
In the coming weeks, Fusion will remain open to serve its customers and support its employees. Staff has encouraged Huntsvillians to come in and support the restaurant in its last month.
This news comes at the same time as the announcement of another restaurant closing in Huntsville, as The Bakingtist announced its closure this week as well.
