New Italian restaurant is headed to Bridge Street

The Italian chain Bravo! closed its doors on Sunday, April 19, after 12 years, leaving the Bridge Street anchor location vacant. Soon after the news of its closing, on Friday, April 24, North Italia restaurant broke the news that it will be filling the space.

This Italian restaurant is known for its fresh, handcrafted cuisine and great hospitality at its 40 locations across the U.S. Find out more about the spot’s second Alabama location 👇

What to expect

North Italia is a modern Italian neighborhood restaurant owned by The Cheesecake Factory Inc. The chain has been in business for 20+ years, with its first Alabama location opening in Birmingham in 2021.

The addition will give Bridge Street two restaurants owned by the company, as The Cheesecake Factory operates in the center of the shopping complex.

While there has not been an opening date announced, you can look forward to fan favorites like:

  • 🍝 Crushed meatball ragu
  • 🥖 Garlic knot sliders
  • 🍕 Hot honey and smoked prosciutto pizza
  • 🥗 Italin farm salad
  • 🍷 Wide selction of wines and cocktails
