New principal named for Guntersville High School

Guntersville City Schools announced on June 8 that Mr. John Doyle will be stepping in as the next principal of Guntersville High School.
Doyle has many years of experience working within Guntersville City Schools and other surrounding districts—a fact that makes him exceptionally qualified for the job.

Learn more about Mr. John Doyle
John Doyle worked previously at Guntersville High School as a history teacher and vice principal.
In addition to those roles, he has also served as vice principal at Albertville High School, and most recently, head principal at Guntersville Elementary School.

As the new principal, Doyle’s efforts will be concentrated in increasing academic opportunities provided to students, curating meaningful extracurricular experiences and preparing students for life after high school.
