Shagnasty’s Grubbery & Pour House announced on Monday, Aug. 5 that they would be closing, effective immediately. The steakhouse, pub and live music venue was a popular location in Huntsville.

Their announcement post was met with over 350 comments of support — many former customers gave the owners their well wishes and shared fond memories they made at the bar and grill.

Shagnasty’s is one of several bars to close this year

Shagnasty’s is one among many favored Huntsville bars to close within the past year, including Fractal Brewing Project and The Brass Tap. Flight Plan Wine & Tapas also recently announced they will be closing permanently on Saturday, Sept. 7.

Additionally, Humphrey’s Bar + Grill has been closed for remodeling since last October, and we have yet to hear about their reopening.
