NEW: The Flying Biscuit Cafe Coming to Huntsville
Huntsville is getting another high-profile breakfast joint, this time in the form of The Flying Biscuit Cafe!
The new restaurant opens next year, here’s what you need to know:
The Flying Biscuit Cafe
The Flying Biscuit Cafe has been baking biscuits since 1993 when they opened their first location in Atlanta.
About 5000 biscuits a day to be exact, multiply that by the 33 restaurants they have spread across the southeast and you’re looking at well over 160,000 of the southern staple baked each and every day (that’s over 60 million a year).
All that to say they know a thing or two about a good biscuit. They’re also well known for their apple butter and grits and have a full breakfast and lunch menu which you can find here.
The Huntsville location will be the third in Alabama, with the first opening in 2019 in Birmingham and the second in 2022 in Auburn.
When and where?
The new location will be coming to The Foundry off Governors Drive in Spring 2025.
The Flying Biscuit Cafe is one of several new businesses that call the mixed-use development home including a new Taziki’s and Kolache Factory.
The new restaurant will occupy a 3,218 square-foot space with plans to be open every day of the week from 7 AM-3 PM (extended to 10 PM on Fridays and Saturdays).
“We are thrilled to be able to bring such a wonderful business to share with The Foundry and the local people of Huntsville. Choosing the location was an easy endeavor. Upon visiting The Foundry, we knew it had to be the home of the newest Flying Biscuit.”
