Nighttime resurfacing of Research Park Boulevard service roads now underway

The Alabama Department of Transportation announced that a resurfacing project on SR-255/Research Park Boulevard began Sunday evening, and will be an ongoing project through mid-summer.
Rogers Group, the contractor on the $1.6 million project, will mill and pave the service roads from north of US-72 to north of SR-53.

Expect nightly lane closures into the summer on Research Park Boulevard
Motorists should expect single-lane closures from 6PM to 6AM Sunday nights through Thursday nights. ALDOT anticipates completion this summer, but did not indicate a specific date.
The SR-255/Research Park Boulevard mainline and ramps were paved last summer in a $2.6 million project.
