Passenger traffic at HSV down in August, still on record-setting pace for 2025

Despite a slight drop in passenger traffic at the Huntsville International Airport, HSV is still on pace for a record-breaking year for 2025. With June and July being the busiest months in the history of the airport, passenger numbers are 6.7% higher than they were at this point last year, when HSV set its all-time traffic record.

HSV on pace for another record-setting year

August 2025 saw a 7.9% increase in passenger traffic compared to August 2024, but about 15,000 fewer passengers flew in and out of the airport in August compared to July.
The 153,269 passengers at the airport in August pushed the passenger total for the year over 1 million.
