If you want to access your new mobile portal, there are a few easy steps to follow once the big day rolls around.

You may also be wondering: what’s up with everyone getting new account numbers? Our friend Amanda at Huntsville Utilities gave us the simple explanation:

“Account numbers have to be updated simply because the account number length is different with the new system. But don’t worry, your new account number will automatically appear on your first bill after August 11.”

Amanda Tomczyk Kemp, Huntsville Utilities

Follow these steps to access your new account starting August 11:

  1. Install the new mobile app
    • Search “HSVUTIL” in the App Store (green icon background, available August 11)
    • Psst: Don’t forget to delete the current app “HUMobile”
  2. Register your new account + automatically get your new account number
  3. Set up your payment
    • Auto-Pay Bank Draft members: your bank draft auto-pay will carry over to the new system
    • Pay with debit or credit: enter card info through new mobile app feature
    • Bill notifications: set up optional alerts + payment reminders in the app
