Giving up gluten is quite the daunting task. Whether it’s due to an allergy or dieting, it can feel impossible to cut out one of America’s favorite foods: pizza.

When I first cut gluten out of my life, saying goodbye to a greasy slice of pepperoni pizza just about broke my heart. Thankfully, here in Huntsville, there are multiple local pizza shops with gluten-free options.

Here are 7 Huntsville pizza shops that offer gluten-free crust options as of July 2026.

Remember, these are pizza shops. Many of these pizzas should be considered “gluten-friendly” rather than entirely gluten-free. Flour is used heavily in each of these stores, so cross-contamination is a possibility. If you are extremely gluten-sensitive, this might not be the list for you. Located in Merchant’s Square, this pizza shop is a must-try. Their Detroit-style pizza has a homemade marinara sauce, a sharp-cheddar covered crust with a provolone + mozzarella mix in the middle, creating the perfect flavor palette. All of their specialty pizzas are available on their gluten-free crust and come in that same beloved Detroit-style pizza.
