Get ready, Huntsville, because Santa is coming to town this Christmas! There will be no shortage of places to spot him around Huntsville this holiday season.

For many in Huntsville, the tradition of a photo op with St. Nick is an important part of what makes the holiday special. It’s also a great excuse to check out some of our city’s most iconic locations.

If you’re looking for some family-friendly holiday cheer in Huntsville this Christmas, be sure to check out the following events:

Big Spring Park

At this year’s Big Spring Jingle event, Big Spring Park West will be hosting live music and dancing and picture opportunities with Santa. Visitors can also take advantage of other festivities and try Skating in the Park, walking through the Tinsel Trail and eating at one of the food trucks on site.

Bridge Street Town Centre

Be on the lookout for Santa roaming throughout Bridge Street this holiday season. He will be at Bridge Street starting November 22nd and ready for any impromptu photo ops while you are out shopping for gifts.

EarlyWorks Children’s Museum

The EarlyWorks Children’s Museum will be hosting its Nights of Santa this holiday season for children to get in some last minute Christmas wishes.

Families will also be able to make holiday crafts, participate in a holiday-themed experiment in the museums brand new Tinker Lab and shop in the gift shop.

Parkway Place

For parents, there will be great photo opportunities for the whole family (and pets) at the mall’s Pet Photo Mondays, which will last until December 16th. (Parkway Place / Facebook)

Santa is making his grand arrival to Parkway Place this Thursday and livening up the mall with holiday spirit and activities.

After the children visit with Mr. Claus, they can step into the interactive Santa’s World and write letters to the North Pole.

Stovehouse

At Stovehouse’s Jingle Bell Bash Market, families can listen to live music, shop at 100 vendors and, most importantly for the kids, meet Santa.

Toyota Field

At Toyota Field’s upcoming Breakfast with Santa event, you can snag a photo with St. Nick and enjoy a breakfast buffet in the SportsMED Stadium Club.

Additionally, all proceeds will go toward the Trash Pandas Foundation nonprofit.

University Pickers

At University Pickers‘ Cookies and Stories events, children can decorate their own Christmas cookies, listen to Mrs. Claus’ stories and share wishes with Santa.
