1. Roller Time in Huntsville

Roller Time is the only option for indoor roller skating in Huntsville, and the rink hosts many fun promotions like Roller Bingo, Friday Pizza Nights, Family Night and great family deals during the weekly Sunday matinee (family of five for $25 + skate rentals).

Sunday night adult skates bring out some of the region’s most experienced skaters.

Stoner Park Skating Rink is a relatively new option for roller skating in Huntsville, having opened in September of 2025 after a $2.3 million project that revamped the former tennis courts at Stoner Park.

Huntsville Parks & Recreation took on the project, developing this 85-by-185-foot roller rink beneath a 19,000-square-foot, open-air pavilion.

3. FUNderdome Skate Center in Moulton

Folks who enjoy roller skating in Huntsville are known for making the trek to rinks all over the region, so we took a wide lap to include all the local options.

The original Moulton Skating Rink opened in 1981, and Town Creek residents Morgan and Cody Terry reimagined it into the FUNderdome in 2021. The rink is open to the public on Fridays and Saturdays and also books private parties and team-building sessions.

4. Sportsworld Skate Center in Cullman

Happy to recommend this one from firsthand experience: After a long gap between my last time roller skating in Huntsville (okay, in Madison, at Insanity Complex), I took the floor again a few months ago at Sportsworld Skate Center in Cullman.

The occasion was the recurring adult old-school skate, usually held on the second Sunday of each month. It was a night of great classic ’80s and ’90s music!
