Here are the run-off election results for Athens, Decatur + Madison

Run-off elections were held yesterday for Decatur, Athens and Madison municipal seats, with results scheduled to be certified by each city in the coming days.

Athens, Decatur and Madison each held run-offs for a City Council seat, with one election going down to the wire Tuesday night in Athens. Here are the (unofficial) results:

Athens

Incumbent City Council member James Lucas narrowly defeated challenger Henry White for the District 3 seat:

James Lucas — 287
Henry White — 200

Decatur

Pam Werstler defeated Sarah French in Tuesday’s runoff election to claim the District 4 seat:

Pam Werstler — 562
Sarah French — 332

Madison

Erica White defeated Scott Harbour for the Madison City Council District 6 seat:

Erica White — 751
Scott Harbour — 454
