One of the fastest growing retail and business districts in the Huntsville area is getting a new restaurant. The Salt Factory Pub will officially open Monday, May 9 at 11AM in the MidCity District.

The gastropub already has three locations in Georgia — in Alpharetta, Roswell and Woodstock — so the Salt Facotry’s Huntsville opening is its first in Alabama.

The Salt Factory Pub grand opening Monday is the latest of a series of openings seen in the MidCity District in Huntsville. Between Trader Joe’s Blue Oak BBQ and Tous les Jours bakery, announcements of new openings in MidCity seem to come at an astounding rate.

Huntsville as a whole has become an attractive location for business owners to open new stores or restaurants, and the management at Salt Factory is no exception.

“Beyond Atlanta, Huntsville has become the go-to-market in the South as it relates to innovative cuisine with a custom flare. Our economy is bouncing back after the pandemic and is looking for experiential dining options; we feel confident that the Salt Factory Pub will do just that.”
