The scope of work involved in this final phase of the project included:
- A fitness center and an indoor walking path
- Two refurbished gymnasiums
- The former locker room converted into a multimedia area, providing opportunities for e-gaming and a space for music and video production
- Enhanced exterior with landscaping and lighting
- An intimate 600-seat theater with a new lobby and extensive improvements on back-of-house facilities to accommodate different types of events
- A 300-seat event center on the site of the school’s lunchroom
“Parks & Recreation is very excited about this space and the uses that can take place in the event center. Birthday parties, training events, wedding receptions or other activities can take place here. The event center will also have a catering kitchen designed to help foster events.”
