A few new businesses opened in the Huntsville area this past week, with some eateries opening and breaking ground around town, and a couple of massage therapy businesses.
However, we had some less-than-pleasing news to report this week as well, with the announcement of two local breweries closing at the end of the month.

Where are these new businesses?
1. Whataburger
The burger chain Whataburger broke ground on their new location near MidCity, which is expected to open by the end of the year. This is the third Huntsville location for the chain.

2. Hand + Stone Massage/Facial Spa
We do not have an exact opening date for Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa in Madison, but we do know that they are coming soon and giving away a chance to win free massages or facials at their grand opening event. So follow them on Facebook to find out more info!

3. CAVA – Clift Farm
CAVA has really expanded its footprint in the Huntsville area lately, replacing the existing Zoe’s Kitchen locations in the are as well as opening new locations in Town Madison and now Clift Farm. They serve fabulous Mediterranean food and provide excellent service.

4. Squeeze Massage
The founders of Drybar have opened Squeeze, a chain of massage therapy spas across the country. A new location in MidCity is expected to open by the end of 2023.

Closings
As we reported earlier today, two local craft breweries, Salty Nut Brewery and Fracral Brewing Project, are closing at the end of July. We are sad to see these popular spots go.
