Slim Chickens to open new location in Athens

Slim Chickens is continuing its expansion across North Alabama and is opening a brand new restaurant in Athens on Monday, July 17.

The chain’s tasty fried chicken and sides have quickly become a favorite of many customers who live near the Memorial Parkway, Highway 72 and Town Madison locations.

Slim Chickens has something for everyone

Aside from their delicious, buttermilk-marinated, 100% natural chicken, one of the most notable things about Slim Chickens is their vast range of sauces. In fact, there are 17 different sauces, from mild options like honey mustard and Slim Sauce, to more adventurous choices such as mango habanero and “Inferno.”
