A popular cocktail bar based in Birmingham (and a James Beard Award finalist!) is opening a Huntsville location. Adiõs Cocktail Bar will open in late spring/early summer at The Lumberyard downtown.
Inspired by Mexico City’s bar scene, Adiõs is known for its inventive craft cocktails, traditional Mexican spirits and lively atmosphere—and it’s already teasing the new Huntsville location on Instagram.

New Adios space at The Lumberyard downtown
Adiõs is the brainchild of two hospitality industry veterans, José Medina Camacho and Jesús Méndez. Both born in Mexico, Camacho and Méndez immigrated to Alabama in the early ’90s and made their mark on Birmingham’s food and beverage scene.
Now branching to the Huntsville market, Adios is already making its mark on the Huntsville scene as well.
Whether you’re stopping by to soak in the sunset on the patio or dreaming about specialty cocktails to come, these new photos hint that Meridian Street is about to become a go-to social hub.

Once a working lumber site dating back to the late 1890s, The Lumberyard has been thoughtfully restored into a vibrant gathering space complete with open-air patios, game areas and plenty of photo-worthy corners.
Adios highlights the courtyard, bar spaces and signature wood-beam structures that perfectly blend historic charm with a modern, social feel.
