One of the most recognizable public figures of the last three decades is taking the stage this summer at Huntsville’s Orion Amphitheater, as legendary rapper and media personality Snoop Dogg announced he is coming to the Rocket City in August.

Snoop has for the last three decades been about as iconic a figure in the hip-hop scene as there is, and his popularity has transcended genres, generations and even industries — in addition to his success as a rapper, he is also a producer, an actor, a businessman and an all-around media icon.

Snoop Dogg announced the dates for his “High School Reunion” tour, and has included Huntsville on the list of tour stops. This tour celebrates the 30th anniversary of his album “Doggystyle,” and he will play the album in its entirety (along with other hits).
