South Star Festival highlights exciting slate of weekend events

Those of you who love live music have plenty to be excited about this weekend, because among a bevy of weekend events happening in and around Huntsville is the South Star Festival at John Hunt Park.
But that’s not the only cool event happening in the Rocket City this weekend. Check these out:
1. Concert on the Dock
This week’s Concert on the Dock at Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment features Tyrone Douglas and Leon Harris, followed by In the Company of Wolves. This is a free show!

2. Jordan Gillis
Gillis is known for his combination of soulful singing and virtuosic lead guitar. He hails from Turners Station, a small historic black community in Baltimore, Maryland.

3. Final Friday Disco Night

4. Mistletoe Market Holiday Fair

7. Fall for All

8. Makers on the Mountain
Fabric dyeing with botanicals, assorted nuts, barks and other botanical material will be used to demonstrate the process of dyeing wool and fabric with natural materials.

9. Health and Wellness Fair
