Earlier this month, Madison Visionary Partners (MVP) was given the green light by the City of Madison to raise funds for a free community splash pad. The local community has been requesting an amenity such as this for a while now — considering this overwhelming heat, the community may need it now more than ever.

Read on to learn more about how to donate, what the splash pad will include and more.

How to support the campaign

If you’re excited about the potential splash pad, you can donate today. Depending on your donation amount, your name and support may be honored in one of a couple ways, including a pavilion, bench or via a brick campaign.

Sunshine Oaks Farm is the top contender for the splash pad’s location

The City of Madison Parks and Recreation department has yet to officially determine the best spot for this splash pad, but the newly acquired Sunshine Oaks Farm is the top contender. It’s located off Mose Chapel Road and very close to Mill Creek Elementary School, making it a prime location for kids to cool off after a long week of school.
