Master Gardeners of North Alabama, Inc. and Huntsville Botanical Garden have an array of classes and workshops where you can harness your gardening skills and learn from the best of the best. Browse what each organization has to offer below.

  • Pruning Shrubs + Trees: March 19, Madison Public Library, 10:30AM — Register now.
  • Backyard Composting: March 30, Huntsville Botanical Garden, 10AM — Register now.
  • Gardening 101: Beginning Gardening Series: April 18, 25 + May 2, Huntsville Botanical Garden, 6PM — Register now.
  • Creating a Beautiful Pollinator-Friendly Cottage Garden: April 18, Madison Public Library, 10:30AM — Registration has not opened yet.
  • 10 Easy Ways to Kill Roses…NOT: May 21, Huntsville Main Library, 1PM — Registration has not opened yet.

Art

Huntsville Museum of Art has several classes and a workshop lined up for the season. The Vessel Community Ceramic Studio is also holding a class on teapot-making, led by local artist Rebecca Palacio.
