Spring is in the air, and it’s the perfect time to clear out the clutter while doing some good.
Instead of tossing those gently used clothes, furniture or household items, donate them to a local organization that will put them to great use. Here’s where you can give your spring cleaning haul a second life and help your community in the process.
Local thrift stores
A New Leash On Life Huntsville Thrift Boutique
A New Leash on Life helps improve the lives of both people and dogs. The proceeds from their marketplace help fund their programs. Donations can be dropped off at their Huntsville or Madison locations.

Downtown Rescue Mission Thrift Store
Downtown Rescue Mission accepts a wide selection of items, including clothing, household goods, furniture, electronics, major appliances, computers, bedding, toys and more.
Donations can be dropped off at any location.

Habitat ReStore
They accept a variety of items, including appliances, building supplies, windows and more.

The Saving Way
Got usable furniture, clothing, purses, shoes, linens, books, electronics or household items? You can drop them off at any location or schedule a pickup right from your home or business.

Three Tails ReSale
All household items are accepted at Three Tails ReSale. If any items are unusable, they will be recycled for you.
