Summer camps still available for kids + teens here in Huntsville

Summer vacation will come to a close in a matter of weeks, but there is still time to get your kids and teens involved in some of the summer camps taking place here in the Rocket City.
Check out these options:
Engineering camps at UAH
The University of Alabama in Huntsville has some great engineering camps for middle school and high school students. Here are a few options on the UAH campus:
Cybercharged Camp
- Open to: Grades 6-8
- Date: July 22 – 26
- Format: Full Day
- Cost: $400, scholarships available
- Includes: All camp materials, water bottle, camp t-shirt, and snacks daily
Discovery Engineering Camp
- Open to: Grades 5 and 6
- Date: July 15 – 19
- Format: Half-Day
- Cost: $175, partial scholarships available
- Includes: All camp materials, water bottle, camp t-shirt, and snacks daily

Calhoun Community College summer camps
Calhoun Community College offers several summer camps, although most sessions have already taken place this summer. However, there are still a couple sessions left to check out:
Volleyball Little Hawks Camp
- Open to: Grades 3-8
- Date: July 17 – 18
- Format: Half-Day
- Cost: $65
- Includes: Camp t-shirt and lunch

- Open to: Grades 9-12

- Format: Half-Day

YMCA Day Camps
Children entering Kindergarten to children entering 8th grade will enjoy active days chock-full of swimming indoors, games and sports, arts and crafts and making friends.
Camps dates run through July 26.
