As if supporting a local charity or nonprofit is rewarding enough—knowing you are supporting a worthwhile cause—getting to attend a fun gala or formal fundraising event is a fabulous motivation to support a worthy cause.

This fall in the Rocket City, several nonprofit organizations will benefit from a variety of parties, balls and galas happening all over town.

Midnight Garden Gala: September 17

  • What: Help raise money for STEM scholarships while enjoying live music, an open bar and a delicious dinner that ties into the magical garden‑at‑night theme at Huntsville Botanical Garden.

  • What: Huntsville Hospital Foundation hosts Decatur’s signature breast cancer awareness fundraiser, bringing together more than 850 attendees and local models for lunch and a fashion presentation.

Margarita Ball: November 21

  • What: The Margarita Ball is a black tie optional, invitation-only event where attendees are asked to bring at least a $50 worth of new, unopened, unwrapped toys for admittance into the ball. At last year’s Margarita Ball, we collected over 4,700 toys that were distributed to 20+ charities across Northern Alabama.
