Take a look at these new businesses (and a couple of closings) in the Huntsville area

We have multiple new businesses to tell you about here in the Huntsville area, with a few cool places to eat and some retail and health services.

Unfortunately, we also have a few closings to announce as well. But we definitely have more opening to celebrate than closings to lament.

1. Verizon Wireless + 2. Gibson Orthodontics

Two new tenants will open soon at Harvest Square Shopping Center. Verizon Wireless will occupy a 2,000 square foot end cap adjacent to Lawler’s Barbecue. Gibson Orthodontics will occupy a 1,400 square foot in-line space adjacent to Subway and Songs Cleaners & Alterations.

3. Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop

The latest Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop location (two have already opened in the Huntsville area) is across from Huntsville Hospital off Governors Drive.

4. Subway

A new Subway restaurant has opened on Whitesburg Drive, with new branding at a fantastic location.

  • When: Now open

5. Comet Coffee + 6. Interstellar Pizza

Some new food and beverage options are coming to HSV soon, including a pre-security coffee shop (Comet Coffee) adjacent to the Public Waiting area and a new pizza bar (Interstellar Pizza) near Gate 8 in the concourse.

  • Beam Roast Coffee (Decatur)
