Taste of Huntsville returns to the Rocket City for first time since 2021

Huntsville foodies take notice: The Taste of Huntsville culinary showcase will take place this fall, for the first time since 2021.

The event will be held October 2 at Huntsville Botanical Garden. Here’s what we know:

Taste of Huntsville returns for 2025

The COVID-19 pandemic paused the decades-long run for the Taste of Huntsville, and efforts have been made to bring back the event for the last couple of years. Finally, the celebration of Huntsville’s culinary scene is back.

Here are some details about the event:

  • When: October 2, 6-9PM
  • Where: Huntsville Botanical Garden, 4747 Bob Wallace Ave SW, Huntsville, AL 35805
  • Cost:
    • General Admission: $75 — includes a welcome cocktail and unlimited tastes from top local restaurants, caterers and beverage vendors
    • Cheers to Hospitality Upgrade: +$25 — includes an exclusive bourbon and wine pairing, with proceeds benefiting the HMCHA Scholarship Fund

While the complete list of restaurants participating in the event has not been released, we do know that the 20205 Taste of Huntsville includes:

  • Sampling delicious bites from dozens of local favorites as you walk through the lush trails of the Huntsville Botanical Garden
  • A complimentary signature welcome cocktail — the Pineapple Prelude, a refreshing pineapple spritzer served upon arrival (and available for purchase at cash bars along the trail)
  • Unlimited tastings from participating vendors, from savory to sweet, traditional to trendsetting.
  • A $25 add-on option, featuring an exclusive bourbon and wine pairing curated to complement select dishes
  • Cash bars located along the route, serving wine, beer and signature cocktails, all operated by and benefiting the Huntsville Botanical Garden

Tickets go on sale Friday, July 25.
