The best middle schools in Huntsville-area, according to Niche.com
Niche.com released their annual middle school rankings for the best schools across the country, and two Huntsville-area public schools were ranked among the best in Alabama.
Here’s where these schools fall in the 2024 rankings:
The best public middle schools in the Huntsville-area
As we reported yesterday after Niche.com released its list of Alabama’s best public high schools, Niche.com releases its school rankings every year. Their determinations are among the most respected school rankings in the country, and Niche evaluates each school based on nine categories:
- Academics
- Teachers
- Clubs & Activities
- Sports
- Facilities & Resources
- Diversity
- College Prep
- Administration
- Food
Both Huntsville-area public middle schools that cracked the top 25 came from Madison City Schools. Discovery Middle on Hughes Rd. ranked fifth among the state’s best public middle schools. Liberty Middle on Dock Murphy Dr. ranked eighth.
