June has come and gone, and the Hville Blast staff is back with another handful of the best things we ate this month. You’ll find that, across all of us, we tried out a vast range of good eats. As usual, we were not disappointed.

Here are some of the best things we ate in and around Huntsville this June:

1. Forage Bowl from Hound + Harvest

Colorful and flavorful…you can’t go wrong! (Sarah Gronberg / Hville Blast)

“Each bite you take of the Forage Bowl is different—in the best way possible! The combination of nutty barley, sweet apples, herby mushrooms, and tangy toppings was incredible. Plus, it has stunning presentation!”

Sarah Gronberg, Account Executive

2. Chicken + Rice Bowl + London Fog Latte from Mason Dixon Bakery + Bistro

Deliciously cozy. (Elizabeth Hobbs / Hville Blast)

“This dish was light and healthy but hearty and tasty—the perfect lunch in my opinion. Grabbed a London Fog for my Craft Coffee Trail stamp and it was one of the best I’ve had! Overall, a flavorful fun lunch.”

Elizabeth Hobbs, Content Producer Intern

3. Afternoon Tea from Lanier House

“From savory sandwiches to flavorful scones and tasty desserts—every tier of the afternoon tea at Lanier House was a treat.”

Lacey Spear, Senior Content Producer

4. Spicy Tuna Roll + Spicy Salmon Roll from Dashu Japanese Cuisine + Bar

There are so many other flavors of sushi to try, too! (Michael Seale / Hville Blast)

“The spicy tuna roll and spicy salmon roll at Dashu were both delicious, with the right amount of kick but not too much bite.”

Michael Seale, Managing Content Producer

5. Blueberry Tiramisu from Big Spoon Creamery

Last — but certainly not least — we end on a sweet note with this fruity and creamy ice cream. (Curtis Venetta / Hville Blast)

“When I visit a new ice cream shop, I make sure to order one of the more unique flavors on the menu. I was not let down by the Blueberry Tiramisu — the blueberry compote and mascarpone ice cream combined for a tart but creamy flavor.”

Curtis Venetta, Content Producer Intern
