Huntsville readers rejoice! The Bookwyrm, a used bookstore, is opening its doors in South Huntsville very soon.

The bookstore will join other wonderful businesses such as Big Foot’s Little Donuts, Black Rose Records, and Bricks & Minifigs as part of the Village Center Shopping Center.

The store will not only sell a broad selection of used books but also provide open public spaces for book clubs, board game sessions, and shopping groups to meet up.

The bookstore will be replacing the Lucky Dice Cafe as a valuable third space for the South Huntsville community. (The Bookwyrm / Facebook)

The official opening day has not been set. However, you don’t want to miss out because every sign points to an opening within the next few weeks.

If you’re interested, there are many things you can do to help. The store is currently accepting donations for books, electronics, decorations and more.

There has already been a significant community response, but there are more donation days on the horizon to further build inventory.

Additionally, you can even receive store credit for book donations. Already, the Bookwyrm is setting the stage for a welcoming communal literary exchange.

While the bookstore continues to set up and progress toward an opening day, you can also browse their audiobook selection.

As of late, Huntsville’s literary community has grown by leaps and bounds with new bookstores and community endeavors. The addition of the Bookwyrm reaffirms that Huntsville’s readers will be in good hands for the long haul.
